Meet Kate

Hey Guys!

Today I'm going to be introducing my sis, Kate.  Here's what she typed about herself.

Name: Kate

Age: 11

Bio:  Hi!  My name's Kate!  I'm 11 years old, and I have two sisters and a dog, Chocolate Chip.  My sisters, Fern and McKenna, are awesome!  We love to do stuff together!  They help me bake, I help by spotting McKenna when she's trying a new gym move, and sometimes I go skating with Fern to keep her company.  I love making candy!  Ever since I was really little, I used to watch cooking shows with McKenna, and I thought cooking looked really fun.  So I tried it out.  Turns out I'm not the best cook.  I was really disappointed, so McKenna suggested I try baking. The first thing I tried to bake was Chocolate Chip Cookies.  They ended up turning out really good!  So I kept on practicing baking.  Then one day I was searching for a recipe, and one popped up for truffles.  I clicked on the recipe and it looked fairly easy, so I decided to try it.  That day I spent my whole day in the kitchen making truffles.  I had so much fun!  So I decided that when I grow up, I want to start a show called "Kate the Candy Maker".  That's how it all began.  Well, thanks for reading about me!

Meet Fern

Hey there!

So today, I am going to personally introduce my sister, Fern (Kate will have an introduction, too.  Just not today.).  Here is what Fern said about herself:

Age: 13

Bio:  Hi!  Nice to meet you!  I'm Fern!  A 13 year old ice skater/rollerblader.  I love skating!  I've skated since I could walk and have always loved it.  Someday, I hope to be a professional ice skater, like Michelle Kwan.  I have two sisters Kate and McKenna (obliviously).  I love spending time with my sisters!  It's really fun (as the oldest sister) to see my two younger sisters do what they love!  I love to watch McKenna at her meets, and Kate at her bake offs.  They've always been there for me! :)  Well, it was nice meeting you!  Thanks for supporting my sis and reading her blog! :D

My Dog

Hi Guys!

Today I thought I'd post about my dog, Cooper.  Cooper is a sweet boy and I love him very much!  He has light brown fur that is a bit curly.  He loves going on walks, and playing with his favorite toy, the Wubba.  He is 2 years old, but still has his puppy energy in him.  He loves everyone he meets, and would be thrilled to meet you!  I love him with all my heart, and I'm so grateful for him.

Strawberry Picking

Hi!

Do you like Strawberries?   I love strawberries!  In fact, I recently went strawberry picking with my sisters!  We love spending quality time together, and Fern's happy because we're getting outside, Kate's happy because she can experiment with the strawberries to make more candies (Kate is a candy maker), and I'm happy because we get to eat them!  So we all agreed it's the perfect thing to do.  I love the really ripe strawberries that are super juicy!  They taste the best (in my opinion).  It's always so pretty, too!  There's strawberry plants on each side of the paths of dirt, and for miles you can see plants full of bright, red strawberries!  I love it there!  Have you ever gone strawberry picking?  If so, I'd love to here about it!

Chocolate

Hi there!

Don't you love chocolate?  I mean, who doesn't?  Chocolate, is one of the most simply delicious things in life, that (almost) everyone loves.  I love chocolate!!!  It is my favorite kinda candy (and let me tell you, I love candy!!!!).  It can be made into so many different things!  Cookies, cakes, cupcakes, brownies, lollypops, truffles, etc.  Mmmmmmmmm, thinking about it makes me want to eat some!!!! :D  Yum!

Beach Day!

Hi guys!

Don't you love going to the beach?  I do!  I think it's soooo fun!  I love to get my swimsuit on and get a tan!  Swimming's awesome too!  One of my favorite things to do is swim!  Don't you just love it!?!  Th other day I went to the beach with my sis Kate, and got a super tan!  Then we swam (even though it was really cold)  for a long time!  It was so awesome!  Have you gone too the beach recently?  Did you have a super time?  Well, thanks for reading!
