Fashionista Fern: Week 5

Hey Girls!

Guess what?  It's Fern, here with week 5 of Fashionista Fern!  So, since school is just starting up for most people, I thought I would do a back to school outfit.

Today we'll be looking at the Tropical Bloom Outfit from American Girl.

Here is the whole outfit.  I think it would be a perfect outfit for your first day of school.

This is the lovely top!  This t-shirt will surely follow any of your school dress codes, and will definitely go great with a pair of jeans.

Here is a closer look at the t-shirt design.  I love this design, and I think it is so beautiful.  I love how it includes the AG logo as well.

These leggings are so cute, and comfy, which will be great for long days sitting at your desk.

This headband is perfect.  It goes with the outfit perfectly, but will go with so many other things as well.

And finally, we reach the shoes!  My fave part!  These shoes are so cute, and they share the same pattern as the t-shirt.  I am in LOVE!

These are the adorable shoes she sponsored me with!  I love them!  They are great quality!  They look so great on my sisters and I (not to flatter myself).

The sides have a cute metal ring to make it super stylish, and has a velcro opening, which is very handy.

The bottoms are made out of foam.  It feels very comfy and padded on your foot, which is just what I look for in a shoe! ;)

Overall I think these are great shoes and are priced very fairly.  I would give them a 5 out of 5 stars.

School Is A'starting

Hey Guys!

Schools starting for everyone!  Nooooooooooooo....I will miss my fun Summer days!  I am starting this Monday, and it feels like it kinda crept up on me.  With school starting I'm gonna be kinda busy, so I'm going to take a week break.  But don't worry, I'll be back before you know it! ;)  I'll miss you! :)

Summer Shopping Spree

Hey There!

It's Kate!  Today McKenna had to go to gymnastics, and was too busy to do a post, so I'm filling in for her.  Anyway...

Recently, McKenna, Fern, and I went on a shopping spree!  Our favorite place to go shopping, is a big mall near us.  It's so awesome, and it has a ton of stores!  My favorite store is Abercrombie Kids.  It has such cute clothes.  At the end of the day, I had gotten two pairs of shorts from Abercrombie Kids, a beautiful lace shirt from Forever 21,  a swimsuit and swimsuit cover up from Target, and beautiful shoes from DSW Shoes.  We all had a lot of fun together!  Plus, we got amazing clothes!  Have you gone on any recent summer shopping sprees?  If so, I'd love to hear about them, so please tell me about it in the comment section, or just email McKenna at mckennaspurplesky@yahoo.com.  Thanks for reading, and have a great day!

Fashionista Fern: Week 4

Hi!

This is the entire ensemble.  I just LOVE this outfit!

This is the gorge dress!  I love this plaid print, it's so beautiful, and the combination of colors looks great together.  I love the bow/belt, and the trim is adorbs.  The great thing about this dress, is that it can be dressed up or down.

These shoes are fantabulous!  The deep blue color is so lovely, and these shoes will go with practically anything!

Fashionista Fern: Week 3

Today is the 3rd week of Fashionista Fern, already!  Time flies...  Today we'll be taking a look at one of the new AG outfits.  This outfit is the Purple Peacock PJs from American Girl.

Here are the Purple Peacock PJs.

This is the adorable shirt.  I love it!  I love the pattern of the shirt, and the way it scrunches at the top.

Here are the pants.  I love these pants, because they are so handy.  They are a wonderful shade of purple, and they could easily pass as sweatpants as well.  Don't you just love clothes like that?

I L-O-V-E  these slippers!  Purple and blue go together fantastically, don't you agree?  I love this cute little pattern on the front, and the strap on the back is very handy.

A Big Bike Ride

Hi there!

Do you like riding your bike?  I love to ride my bike!  There's just a feeling about it; so free.  You can go almost anywhere on a bike.  I live about 7 miles away from the grocery store, and my sisters and I like to ride our bikes to the grocery store, and then we can get our groceries and put them in our backpacks for the ride home.  Unfortunately, we can't get ice cream to take home on the bikes 'cause it would melt. :(  But, we still get ice cream, don't worry.  The other day, my sisters and I set a goal to go 60 miles in one day. Big goal; I know.  Guess what, though?  We made it!  First we rode the seven miles to the grocery store.  Then we got some energy bars to have later when we were running out of fuel.  Then we went 23 more miles, and we were halfway.  We stopped and had our energy bars, but we were still really hungry.  So, we rode to a nearby 7/11 and got slushies!  They were fantastic!  After that, we rode all the way home with no breaks at all.  It was a huge bike ride, and it took up the whole day.  We felt like we deserved a treat after that, so we walked to a mini market not even a mile away, and got some donuts for the morning and a 2 liter jug of Root Beer (my favorite).  We had a fantastic day and at the end, clinked to it with glasses of Root Beer.  What a great adventure it was!

There's this really cute AG outfit that I really, really want, but it's retired! :(  It's so cute and adorable, and I think that it would look really cute on me and my sisters.  It called the Earth Day Outfit.  I love it! Here is a picture.
